Revolution Bulldogges is small family run breeder of original Olde English Bulldogges (Leavitt Bulldogs) in Historic Bucks County, Pennsylvania. We are located just outside of Philadelphia, minutes from Historic Washington's Crossing, PA and close to New Jersey. Our Bulldogges are a part of our family and live with us in our homes.
Our fascination with Bulldogs began when our son joined the Marines, primarily because the Bulldog is the mascot of the Marines. When he finished his tour of duty with the Marines, a portion of which was in Iraq, all he wanted was an English Bulldog. We did a lot of research and were reluctant to get him one, primarily because of all of their health issues. In our research we came across the Olde English Bulldogge and we were drawn to the breed because they have many of the characteristics of the English Bulldog (temperament, looks, etc.) without all of the health issues.
Although we haven't been breeding for long, my wife, Patti, and I have had dogs of different breeds our entire lives, so we have a lot of experience with dogs. We have also received alot of guidance from our new friends, other Olde English Bulldogge breeders. Our goal with breeding our Bulldogges is to produce friendly, well tempered pups that will conform to the breed standards while at the same time attempting to better the breed overall. In addition, we hope to familiarize people with the outstanding qualities of the breed and strive to produce pups that exceed those qualities.
